I've gone on a buying spree, and now have enough to keep me in reproductions for at least 6 months, if I continue at this rate. I've purchased, but am waiting for:
- The Gift of Friendship, a mid-1800's chap book
- The Blind Boy that Could See, a mid-1800's chap book
- Two issues of Schoolmate and Forrester's magazine from 1863, with an 1864 issue thrown in free
- What I hope is a year's worth of the above magazine, but it was cheap and I took a chance
- A collection of popular fairy tales published in 1900. Once I have the copy in my hand, I can legally reproduce the stories, and will most likely do that in the form of chapbooks, one tale at a time, for the tales that were around during the civil war.
